How it works

  1. 1Sign up for a paid ServiceM8 subscription via the Online Dashboard (new subscribers only).
  2. 2Engage Magnolia Innovative Solutions (or another Certified Partner) for setup & training.
  3. 3Submit your paid Partner invoice to ServiceM8 within 60 days of subscribing.
  4. 4ServiceM8 credits 100% of your Partner spend (up to $2,000) to your account.
  5. 5Credit is applied at 50% of your monthly plan price until the credit runs out — meaning you pay roughly half your subscription each month until the rebate is used up.

Things to know

  • Available only to new ServiceM8 subscribers (accounts started after 22 August 2023).
  • You must subscribe via the Online Dashboard at servicem8.com/login-page (not via Xero or Apple in-app purchase).
  • Services claimed must be first-time setup and training — not ongoing support.
  • Submit your claim within 60 days of subscribing and the Partner invoice date.
  • One claim per account; bundle multiple Partner invoices into a single submission.
  • UK customers get up to £1,000; EU customers up to €1,000.
  • Offer runs while ServiceM8 Customer Success Fund money lasts.

How is ServiceM8 priced — per user or per job?

Per business, by job volume. Every paid plan includes unlimited users — your whole crew uses the app at no extra cost. You pick the tier that fits your monthly job count. This is meaningfully different from per-user-priced competitors like Tradify and Jobber, and usually cheaper once you have 4+ active users.

Is there really a free tier?

Yes. ServiceM8 has a Free Forever tier — 30 jobs per month, 1 user, self-serve only. It's a real product, not just a trial. Most growing businesses outgrow it within a couple of months, but it's a fine starting point.

What if I go over my plan's job limit?

Most paid plans (Starter, Growing, Premium) don't allow overage — you'd upgrade to the next tier. Premium Plus does allow overage at 20¢ per additional job beyond the included 1,500/month. We help you pick the right tier during onboarding and revisit it after 90 days to make sure you're not over- or under-paying.

How does the setup & training rebate work?

When you sign up for a paid ServiceM8 plan and engage us (or another Certified Partner) for setup and training, ServiceM8 credits up to $2,000 of your Partner spend back to your ServiceM8 account. Credit is applied at 50% of your monthly subscription until the credit is used — so you effectively pay half your subscription each month until the rebate runs out. Do I pay Magnolia for setup, or do you take a cut from ServiceM8?

You pay us directly for setup and training services — fixed-fee, scoped during a discovery call. ServiceM8 then rebates up to $2,000 of that spend back to your ServiceM8 account (not to us) via the Customer Success Fund. The rebate makes our service effectively free for many small businesses. Your ServiceM8 subscription is paid directly to ServiceM8 separately.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — ServiceM8 has a 14-day free trial of any paid plan. You can also start on the Free Forever tier and upgrade once you're sure. We can provision either a demo account (sample data, 7-day exploration) or a live account through the form on our site.

Do you charge separately for ongoing support?

Initial onboarding (rebate-eligible) is a fixed fee. Ongoing support is available as a monthly retainer or hourly — see our Support page. Most clients on the rebate keep the rebate credit applied to subscription costs and bring us in on retainer for ongoing optimisation.

Can I cancel my ServiceM8 plan anytime?

Yes — ServiceM8 is monthly with no lock-in. You can cancel any time. If you've claimed the setup rebate, you keep the credit you've already applied; you just lose any unused balance if you cancel before it's used up.

Is pricing the same in every country?

ServiceM8 has regional pricing — USD on this page (US market), AUD in Australia, GBP in the UK, EUR in Europe. The structure is the same but the numbers and the rebate ceiling differ. UK rebate is up to £1,000, EU up to €1,000.
