How training is priced

Training is priced per session, per role, or as part of a bundled onboarding engagement. Most small businesses (under 10 staff) get full role coverage for a fixed package price. Larger teams price per role or per quarter.

Do you train new hires after the initial rollout?

Yes. Most clients use our recorded modules + checklist for new-hire onboarding once the initial training has happened. We also offer live new-hire sessions if your hiring volume justifies it.

Is training included with onboarding?

Yes — every new ServiceM8 account we provision comes with onboarding training included. Additional refreshers and role-deep-dives are billed separately.

Can you train on-site or only remotely?

Both. We deliver on-site in our primary market (Birmingham, AL and surrounding region) and virtually anywhere. Remote training works well for office staff; on-site is often best for hands-on field tech sessions.

What does a typical session look like?

A field tech session runs about 90 minutes — login and navigation, job lookup, on-site workflow (photos, line items, signatures, invoicing), and Q&A using your actual customer data. Admin sessions are usually 2 hours and cover dispatch, quoting, reporting, and accounting sync.

Do you train on advanced features like custom forms and asset registers?

Yes — once your team has the basics, we run advanced modules on custom forms, asset registers, recurring jobs, API integrations, and reporting. These are usually billed as separate modules.

Can you train my team without our ServiceM8 already set up?

We'd recommend doing setup first so training uses your real data. If you're brand new, our onboarding service handles setup and training together as one engagement.
